Sulle abilità scritte e strategie comunicative – Writing skills and communication strategies
The European Recommendation on key competences for lifelong learning (2006) emphasises the importance of the functional use of language as a tool to express needs, desires, behaviours and moods. Teachers are therefore called upon to present to their students the language in use, and give them activities and real linguistic tasks.
The course is designed to provide teachers with the knowledge and the tools to increase students’ writing skills through activities designed to create realistic tasks for use in the real world. The activities have been chosen so that teachers can use them easily with their classes for maximum production.
The objectives are:
– to increase teachers’ awareness of approaches and methodologies for language learning;
– to present teachers with an activity bank through the activities presented;
– to increase teachers awareness and effectiveness of multimedia in the classroom to increase student communication.
By the end of the course teachers will be able to:
– choose activities that increase student production;
– reflect and evaluate on the effectiveness of the activities they have used in the classroom;
– understand the approaches and methodologies used when planning lessons/activities.
